Young Actors Conservatory Summer 2023

ETC’s Young Actors Conservatory is a summer theater educational program designed to offer participants ages 5-22 the experience of working in a professional setting alongside professional theater teaching artists. In this nurturing environment, students are exposed to a comprehensive curriculum that is age appropriate and focuses on theater performance and technique.  Each program is designed to meet the needs of its students through age-appropriate creative lessons that also help build confidence, self expression, social development, teamwork, critical thinking skills and empathy.

This two-week workshop offers aspiring young performers the chance to expand their skills by exposing them to the fundamentals of acting, singing, and dancing. Perfect for students new to the stage or those looking for a challenge, this training program encourages risk-taking and growth with nurturing guidance from theater professionals. Individual attention, ensemble building, character development and improvisation exercises are used to enhance creative expression, positive self-image and confidence. The camp runs Mondays through Fridays and culminates with a Saturday afternoon showcase for family and friends.   

Tuition: $750 
Dates: June 26th – July 8th, 2023
Times: Monday through Friday 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Final Presentation: Saturday, July 8th at 2:00 p.m.

No Audition required


Under the direction of award-winning actor/director Brian McDonald, and a professional faculty, this 2-week intensive offers aspiring dramatic and musical theater actors comprehensive training normally reserved for collegiate students. In the first part of their day, students focus on physical and vocal expression, character development, mask work and improv. In the afternoon, students have a choice to concentrate on straight acting or musical theatre training with a curriculum focuses on principles of acting, dance vocal training, scene analysis, song interpretation, and performance training. The program culminates in a showcase of students work for family and friends. Perfect for students serious about furthering their performance skills and seeking to pursue a career in theater.

Recommended Requirements: Previous performing experience is strongly recommended for this advanced acting and musical theater program. 
Dates: July 17 – 29, 2023
Times: Mondays through Fridays 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Performances: Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 2 p.m.


In this one-week camp, students are introduced to the exciting and imaginative world of theatre. They learn about the building blocks of storytelling and performing as they engage in creative self-expression, cooperation, and social-emotional learning. Teamwork and imagination are fostered through high-energy interactive theater games and musical exercises. The program culminates in a presentation for family and friends. 

Tuition: $300 
Dates: July 10 – 15, 2023
Days: Monday through Saturday 
Times: Morning Session 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. / Afternoon Session 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Performance: Saturday, July 15, 2023 at 1:00 p.m.
