WHAT THE CRITICS ARE SAYING
“AN OUT-OF-THIS-WORLD TRIUMPH! PHENOMENAL! HILARIOUSLY ENTERTAINING! OMINOUSLY CHILLING! TREMENDOUSLY POWERFUL! THE MOST IMMERSIVE PRODUCTION THE NEW VIC HAS SEEN IN RECENT MEMORY! THIS INNOVATIVE PLAY-WITHIN-A-PLAY EMERGES AS A TRIUMPH AND TESTAMENT TO THE MOST INFAMOUS NIGHT IN RADIO HISTORY!” – Daisy Scott, VOICE MAGAZINE
“WOW! AMAZING! FUNNY, THOUGHTFUL AND CAUTIONARY!” – Judith Smith-Meyer, NOOZHAWK
“SNAPPILY ENTERTAINING! HILARIOUS! A playground of lighting, practical, and foley effects, War of the Worlds is as fun to watch as it is to hear… IT’S NEVER NOT ENTERTAINING! The show ends with a simple but powerful aural montage that elucidates the importance of news literacy, especially in our era of AI hoaxes and fake news. The final visual of the Zeta Reticulan stare carved into a Jack-o’-lantern exemplifies the detailed artistry of this COMPELLING production!” – Maggie Yates, SANTA BARBARA INDEPENDENT
